Membership Terms & Conditions
A. Your monthly payment will be collected by a recurring continuous card payment on or close to the 1st of each calendar month. Your membership will begin on the date of your first payment. Payment of your monthly payment is due regardless of the usage of our services and regardless of whether we have suspended, paused or withheld services/treatments for any reasons outlined in this agreement. You are obliged to ensure that we always hold valid card payment details. If the card payment details provided expire or you default your payment resulting in your payment being 7 days late or more, we reserve the right to apply a £30 late payment fee in addition to the monthly payment. Services included in your membership will be suspended until payment of all sums due have been received by us. If payments are regularly late, we may cancel your membership without notice.
B. You must be 18+ years to be a member and you must have your own credit/debit card.
C. Membership services/treatments and discounts are non-transferable to anyone else.
D. In the event you become pregnant during your membership you must contact us to let us know as we cannot wax you during your first trimester. No retrospective refunds will be issued but your membership will be frozen for up to 3 months once we have received proof of pregnancy from a maternity exemption certificate (matEX card) or letter from your GP on headed paper.
A. Within 14 days of the start date, you may cancel your membership agreement without reason by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If any services included in the membership have been used within the first 14 days after the start date, then you must pay the difference between the membership payment and the total pay and go prices of the treatments where the total is in excess of the membership payment. If the total is less than the membership payment, then we will refund the difference to you. If you have had no treatments in the 14 days after the start date, we will refund your first membership payment in full.
B. You are committing to a minimum term of 6 monthly consecutive payments. After this time, you can cancel your membership at any time by giving a minimum of 30 days’ written notice through email to email@example.com.
C. All our memberships are auto renewable after 6 monthly payments, unless you send an email of cancellation to firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your membership at least 30 days prior to the 6th payment. You agree that your membership shall automatically be renewed on a 1 month rolling basis under the same terms. If the membership you are on is discontinued your membership will renew on the closest equivalent level available at the time of renewal.
D. We reserve the right to cancel your membership without notice or being required to give reason. In the event of cancellation by us of your membership no refund will be made for prior monthly payments regardless of usage by you.
APPOINTMENTS: RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
A. You are responsible for scheduling and attending appointments. If no services/treatments included in your membership are used by you in a calendar month they cannot be carried over/banked for another month.
B. All memberships allow you to cancel or reschedule appointments up until 9am on the day of the appointment. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing email@example.com or calling the salon on 02920232560 and speaking to a member of staff or leaving a voicemail.
C. If you cancel or reschedule an appointment without providing the specified notice time, your membership will be forfeited for the remainder of the current calendar month regardless of use of services/treatments. If you wish to book in for a treatment/service while your membership is forfeited, you will be charged accordingly with the current pay and go advertised prices.
D. If you are late to your scheduled appointment, we will try our best to complete as much of the service/treatment as possible in the appointment time remaining. If the full service/treatment included in your membership is not fully completed in a calendar month due to lateness it cannot be carried over/banked for another month.
E. A minimum of 1cm hair growth is required at each appointment. If you attend your first membership bikini appointment of the month with less than 1cm hair growth you will be unable to receive the services/treatments and your membership will be forfeited for the remainder of the current month regardless of use of services/treatments. If you attend a second membership bikini wax in the same month with less than 1cm hair growth you will be unable to receive the services/treatments and will be charged the full current pay and go advertised prices for the services/treatments. If you wish to book in for a service/treatment while your membership is forfeited, you will be charged accordingly with the current pay and go advertised prices.
F. If you cancel or reschedule an appointment without providing the specified notice time and have also booked in for additional treatments that are not included in your membership, then you will be required to follow the current pay and go cancellation policy for those additional treatments by paying 100% of the treatment costs. You agree to allow Madame Wax to charge your current payment card we have on our system if we are unable to retrieve payment from you on the day of cancellation.
A. You agree to opt in and receive information relating to your membership via email and SMS.
B. You agree to tell us immediately of any changes to your personal details including contact information.
C. If you choose to opt out of Email and SMS communications, you accept full responsibility for any loss incurred by you not receiving relevant information/communications. Information that is sent via email or SMS by us to you will be assumed to be received and read by you.
D. Any queries regarding your membership are to be directed to the membership team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling them on 02922338259.
E. All phone calls made to any Madame Wax department will be recorded for training and quality purposes.
A. You agree to follow all salon rules and regulations. Madame Wax reserves the right to revoke your membership immediately if you do not follow these rules and regulations.
B. Madame Wax reserves the right to withdraw the membership benefits as well as make changes to the terms and conditions; however, we will always give 30 days’ notice of any changes.
C. Making a continuous monthly payment does not entitle you the member to a monthly wax if the hair is not 1cm in length. Here at Madame Wax our team always recommends the Madame Wax 5 week habit.
